What We Do

Perhaps the greatest long-term investment in sustainable development a nation can make is the investment in their youth through continuing to invest in education and work force development. By equipping youth with leadership and creative thinking skills, technical and business knowledge, and combining it with social and environmental awareness, NHEO (National Hispanic Entrepreneurs' Organization) is training the youth of today to be the community, business and socially responsible leaders of tomorrow.

Our energy and dedication is the key to the continued growth and success. The values that we treasure are the ones that define us:

Focusing on our community first:  We can achieve our mission only by working to help our community succeed.

Encouraging entrepreneurial thinking:  We aim to spread the entrepreneurial culture among NHEO Community.

Developing the talents of our people:  NHEO constantly develop existing talents and sharpen new skills to deliver world-class service.

Integrity and responsibility in our actions:  We are focusing on doing the right things to help our community prosper.

Our Approach

NHEO catalyzes and accelerates the process of personal and societal transformation on these main pillars:

•   Delivering  holistic, interactive and educational programs to help entrepreneurs scale their ventures;
•   Raise awareness of critical issues faced by Hispanics, and developing strategies
for social change;
•   Ongoing support and mentoring to launch the sustainable ventures developed by our Fellows;
•   Building a global network of social entrepreneurs and the platform to accelerate their mission;
•   Partner with others to leverage our resources and capabilities to accelerate the process;
•   Treat the North Carolina region as a program incubator where new approaches can be tried and tested before being disseminated nationally.

Driving Social Change

Fostering the next generation of Hispanic entrepreneurs is a dynamic process, a spiral to generate social capital: the more people who take action, the more awareness they will raise, this will encourage people to explore and absorb the materials and virtually create more entrepreneurs that will have the passion to pursue the concept.

This is the umbrella for the NHEO’s focused areas of development:
