After working on the Building A Safer Future campaign for several weeks now, I have learned the value and importance of safety in the workplace. However, it wasn’t until I interviewed a laborer, that I truly realized and began to understand the safety challenges that construction workers face on a daily basis.
After hearing about these daily struggles, it occurred to me that Frankie isn’t the only construction worker who faces these challenges. These safety hazards affect not only the workers themselves, but also their families.
Safety is such a huge part of construction, and Building A Safer Future campaign can aid organizations in finding solutions and ways to address these problems. By participating in Building A Safer Future we can help strengthen our communities, and truly make a difference in people’s lives!
